Alfred Rossum, M.D., M.M.S. specializes in internal medicine and cardiology and also is the Medical Director of the Phoenix Heart Vein Center.

Dr. Rossum has published extensively on a variety of different medical subjects, including cardiac injuries, lesions and skin screening, and the cardio effects of alcohol abuse. His articles and abstracts have appeared in a number of journals and he has been a featured speaker at several academic conferences, including the American College of Physicians and the Western Society of Clinical Investigations.

Dr. Alfred Rossum graduated from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas with a master of medical science. Prior to that, he underwent fellowship training in space medicine at Johnson Space Center/University Texas Medical Branch, and in aerospace medicine at the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine in Galveston, Texas. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Arizona School of Medicine, Tuscon, Arizona, and in cardiology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences-Little Rock. He graduated from University of Arkansas-Fayetteville with a bachelor of arts degree.

Dr. Rossum is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Internal Medicine.
