As a graduate of Birmingham - Southern College, Dr. Brentnall received his degree at the University of Alabama Medical School. A surgical internship was earned at Lloyd Noland Hospital. A residency in Otolaryngology was completed at University of Alabama in Birmingham Alabama.

Dr. Brentnall is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, The Pan-American Allergy Society, The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Board of Otolaryngology.

He has practiced over thirty years in the Alabama cities of: Anniston, Clanton, and Sylacauga. His practice has been that of general E.N.T. (ear, sinus, and allergy care), skin cancer care, and weight loss.
